  1. I know what I want.
I know what I want for my life and for my “Significant Other” relationship.
I have it in writing, in vivid detail.

 Love Play

Write it out … put your Love vision down on paper. Something magical happens when you take the time to do this – we’re more committed – more attractive and magnetic to our heart’s desires …

So make that pot of tea – hang out in that coffee shop or bookstore – get propped up in bed with your laptop. You have to have a dream to have a dream come true …what is it?

While you are at it, listen in the show that started us off - Love! Ready, Set, Go?!?

Speaking of getting to know yourself …  tune into our interview with Dr. Charlotte Kasl, author of Women, Sex & Addiction A Search for Love & Power and If The Buddha Dated. Features Lee Mirabal, Your Friendly Next Door Neighbor.

 Featured Love Stories

Tune into Love … Lovers hang out with lovers. It’s true – happiness, enthusiasm, optimism, happy expectations, Loving relationships are contagious (so is bitterness, anger & resentment).  Your first Love Story is Cathy’s Story – not the cartoon character, but the real woman behind the strip.

“I wasn’t interested in him – I just thought he might know someone …”  Cathy Guisewite

2. I know what I require.

At first I thought this was too calculated and unromantic an approach. Make a list of what I required? Shouldn't I just let it happen? After awhile, like years of unsuccessful happenings, I changed my mind, got specific and changed my results! Being specific allowed the perfect-for-me Love to happen.

Write it out * put your Love Requirements down on paper Don't underestimate the magic of the written word.

Education, ethnicity, religious expression, political, geographical, special interests, dog lover can they have children from a previous relationship? Do they have to want children with you?  Is it o.k. if they smoke, drink, eat meat, are messy, neat?

I'll share two of mine  ...

1. He had to live within twenty minutes of me. I'd had it with long distance, all in my imagination relationships.  2. He had to Love housedogs. I could not be with a mate who did not Love dogs or wouldn't allow them indoors. If those sound silly to you that doesn't matter because I am talking about my requirements not yours!

Here comes a very important point for you to consider ...

Are your requirements really your requirements or are they your mothers', your grandfathers', your best-friend's? After you've written them out, read through them out loud and notice your physical "gut" reaction to each statement. We'll talk more about this body talk later. For now, just notice.

Up for a blunt, intelligent & experienced man’s point of view on the topic of requirements? "We are socialized for conflict not for connection."  Marc H. Rudov

Meet Marc Rudov, Author, The Man’s No Nonsense Guide to Women. This is one of my must reads for both genders …
